Alexander H. Gardner

In 1992, Alex and his sister, Julie, founded Grand Street Settlement’s group mentoring program, JUMP!, which matches young professionals with children who participate in Grand Street Settlement’s afterschool programs. Over the past 27 years, JUMP! has matched almost 2000 children with mentors. Alex was also a co-founder of Grand Street Settlement’s annual fundraiser, Taste of the Lower East Side, which will be celebrating it’s 20th year in May 2020.
