JUMP! TRIP & VOLUNTEER LEADS
A JUMP Trip Lead commits to planning each trip and engagement activity for the year. They remind volunteers of upcoming trips and events, and stay in touch with Grand Street Settlement staff. They communicate highlights or challenges, and facilitate engagement events for volunteers – like dinners or drinks after trips. Trip Leads are also expected to attend trips and engagement activities, and to ensure interactions are age appropriate, safe, healthy and inclusive. Finally, Trip Leads provide constructive feedback to volunteers if needed.
JUMP! VOLUNTEERS
A JUMP Volunteer is required to attend trips and engagement activities and provide healthy, safe and inclusive interactions with participating youth. Volunteers are also expected to provide constructive feedback to their JUMP Trip Lead about youth interactions or trips/engagement activities.
